We at Penn Mar Martial Arts realize parents who have made the decision to Home School their children have taken on quite a commitment. For what ever reason they chose to take the responsibility of their child's education into their own hands 
we "Salute You!" We realize that you have taken on the task that normally takes hundreds of teachers to accomplish throughout your child's life time.
We have been teaching our home school program for quite sometime with great results. We realize parents have specific mandates set on them by the state. Some states are more restricted and structured then others Pennsylvania being one of them.
The states that have the most requirements for homeschooling that parents must adhere to ask that a parent give notification, get their curriculum approved, submit to testing or home evaluations, and some even require parents to have teaching degrees.

You can use the above categories as guides, but you should call your local public schools to find out specifically what your state requires. If they don't know (but they should) then they can give the number of the person who does.
No matter what a state has to say about a child's lesson structure and well being I know first hand, physical activity and social interaction to be one of the top reasons why parents bring their children to my program. We have been teaching a specialized program for Home Schooled children for a long time. We follow the same programs of any of our other martial art programs but offer classes during the day as well as combining the programs with our evening classes. We have had amazing results and we hope to share them with you soon.
